MAB Participates in Town Hall Meeting
with Congressman John Dingell
The MAB took part in a DTV Transition Town Hall Meeting at the Monroe Senior Center on Thursday, March 20th. Attending on behalf of the MAB were President/CEO Karole White, Director of Programs Jennifer Preslar and Website/IT Manager Dan Kelley. All three are members of MAB's DTV Transition Team.
Following remarks by Congressman Dingell, MAB's Karole White spoke on what is being done by broadcasters to help viewers and consumers in the digital transition.
WTVS/Detroit VP/Engineering & Technology Helge Blucher did a technical demonstration of a DTV converter box and showed how the new digital signals will look on an older, analog set.
Broadcasters from the Detroit area provided one-on-one assistance and answered questions on the digital transition.
