 On Monday, June 23, the MAB DTV Team with assistance from management and engineers from area television stations, presented its educational program at the downtown Lansing Public Library.
MAB Director of Programs and DTV Team member Jennifer Preslar opened the program with an an overview on how, why and what of the transition to digital. This was followed by a technical presentation by MAB Director of Technology on the converter box installation, the importance of antennas as well as considerations for VCRs and other accessories.
After the technical presentation, the floor was opened for a question and answer session featuring Estlack and local broadcasters.
MAB has additional regional public education meetings scheduled this summer, and we invite representatives from area television stations to participate.
